Simply delirious. The Pains of Being Pure At Heart recycle every indie mannerism in the book and come up with an album that sounds like the Primitives colliding with ‘Adore’ era Smashing Pumpkins. A soaring cacophany of frothing choruses and foaming guitars. Simply brilliant and top marks for the name.
